The 26th Armor Battalion serves as the heavy armor and mechanized warfare component of the 2nd Expeditionary Strike Group. Equipped with the latest UEE armored vehicles and mechanized platforms, the battalion provides devastating ground power and mobile fire support to Marine forces during offensive and defensive operations.
Operating in coordination with the 7th Marine Combat Battalion and supported by the 7th Combat Logistics Battalion, the 26th Armor Battalion leads from the front. Whether deploying from orbital dropships or advancing from secured beachheads, its units ensure that the 2nd Expeditionary Strike Group maintains the initiative on the battlefield.
