UEE Naval Contractors are a critical but often overlooked component of the Empire’s military machine. Unlike enlisted personnel or commissioned officers, contractors are civilian specialists hired to provide essential support services to the Navy. They bring with them a wealth of technical expertise, industrial skill, and logistical capability that allows the fleet to operate at peak efficiency.

Naval Contractors may be called upon to assist with fighter support, turret gunnery, ground operations, engineering, maintenance, cargo handling, salvage, mining operations, or base construction, depending on the needs of the task force they are assigned to. While they often operate side by side with UEE naval forces, they are not bound by military rank or protocol, and they do not wear official uniforms or designated armor. Instead, contractors retain civilian status, often wearing their own gear and equipment suited to the specialized work they perform.

This unique status gives Naval Contractors flexibility—able to move between civilian industries and military assignments—while providing the UEE with rapid access to vital skills and manpower. Though they may not carry the same responsibilities as a naval rating or officer, their contributions are indispensable: every ship repaired, every supply run completed, and every forward base established carries the mark of contractor expertise.
