The 2nd Medical Battalion provides expeditionary medical, surgical, and casualty evacuation capabilities for the 2nd Expeditionary Strike Group. Comprised of combat medics, surgeons, evacuation pilots, and field hospital personnel, this unit stands at the forefront of battlefield medicine and humanitarian relief.
they provide immediate trauma care, surgical stabilization, and long-term medical support for deployed Marine and Naval personnel, as well as authorized civilians within operational zones. The 2nd Med Battalion ensures continuous medical coverage from point-of-injury to evacuation or recovery.
